Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Rolla, Missouri
Type: Full-Time | On-Site (Monday–Friday)
Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in ensuring MO SCI products meet established quality standards. This hands-on role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and support of laboratory and quality system processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Reject and document non-conforming materials
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Support laboratory operations, including maintaining supplies and equipment
- Perform and document risk analyses as required
- Maintain records, retention samples, and traceability systems
- Assist with inventory tracking and material status reporting
- Support training of new employees on quality procedures
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of the Quality System
- Collaborate with QA leadership to ensure product standards are met
- Identify and help resolve quality-related issues
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Computer literacy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience in quality assurance, laboratory, or manufacturing environments
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a hands-on laboratory and production environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
- Willingness to learn and develop additional skills as needed
