Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Rolla, Missouri
Type: Full-Time | On-Site (Monday–Friday)
Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in ensuring MO SCI products meet established quality standards. This hands-on role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and support of laboratory and quality system processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Reject and document non-conforming materials
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Support laboratory operations, including maintaining supplies and equipment
- Perform and document risk analyses as required
- Maintain records, retention samples, and traceability systems
- Assist with inventory tracking and material status reporting
- Support training of new employees on quality procedures
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of the Quality System
- Collaborate with QA leadership to ensure product standards are met
- Identify and help resolve quality-related issues
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Computer literacy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience in quality assurance, laboratory, or manufacturing environments

Analytical Chemist
Location: Rolla, Missouri
Type: Full-Time | On-Site (Monday–Friday)
Position Overview
The Analytical Chemist supports manufacturing, engineering, research and development, and customer needs by performing analytical testing, developing laboratory methods, and maintaining analytical processes. This position is responsible for collecting and analyzing data, supporting laboratory operations, implementing new equipment and testing methods, and identifying opportunities to improve analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing, including calibration and maintenance of analytical equipment
- Collect, analyze, and report production, service, and process data using statistical techniques when appropriate
- Develop and implement analytical methods and processes for new equipment, including method development and Gage R&R studies
- Establish documentation and standard operating procedures for new analytical equipment
- Support Analytical Laboratory, Engineering, and Manufacturing activities
- Prepare technical reports, protocols, summaries, and quantitative analyses
- Evaluate analytical testing capabilities and recommend process improvements
- Perform physical and chemical property testing for internal and external customers
- Coordinate testing and analyses performed by outside laboratories
- Support specialized manufacturing and analytical activities as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related analytical field
- 2–3 years of experience in chemical or materials analysis
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, research, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to identify problems and improvement opportunities related to analytical services, research and development, and manufacturing
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with QA, R&D, Manufacturing, and external customers
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to pursue additional training and professional development as needed
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related analytical field
- Five or more years of experience in chemical or materials analysis
