Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Rolla, Missouri
Type: Full-Time | On-Site (Monday–Friday)

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in ensuring MO SCI products meet established quality standards. This hands-on role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and support of laboratory and quality system processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Reject and document non-conforming materials
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate quality documentation
  • Support laboratory operations, including maintaining supplies and equipment
  • Perform and document risk analyses as required
  • Maintain records, retention samples, and traceability systems
  • Assist with inventory tracking and material status reporting
  • Support training of new employees on quality procedures
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of the Quality System
  • Collaborate with QA leadership to ensure product standards are met
  • Identify and help resolve quality-related issues
Qualifications
Required:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Experience in quality assurance, laboratory, or manufacturing environments

Manufacturing Technician

Location: Rolla, Missouri
Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for producing materials that meet established customer and quality specifications. This is a hands-on production role focused on consistency, attention to detail, and adherence to defined manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture materials in accordance with established standards and procedures
  • Ensure production goals are met while maintaining product quality requirements
  • Monitor processes and identify quality or production issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Document process parameters and maintain accurate traceability records
  • Support cross-functional teams and assist other departments as needed
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality throughout production activities
Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
  • Basic math and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support coworkers
  • Commitment to safety standards
  • Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR compliance)
